Security Foot Patrol Officer

About the role:

As a customer-focused Security Officer, you'll be crucial in protecting our clients' assets and properties while providing outstanding customer service.

Your responsibilities will include patrolling assigned areas, managing incidents, and interacting with clients and visitors to ensure a secure and welcoming environment. This role demands excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to surpassing customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure safety and security, requiring physical stamina and vigilance
  • Delivering excellent service performance standards whilst developing. operational efficiencies and improve performance
  • Responding to workplace emergencies
  • Site safety inspections and protecting users from security related risks
  • Manage incidents to achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Reduce risk and increase safety
  • Responding to alarm activations
  • Managing access control systems
  • Maintaining data and security records including communication logs and comprehensive reports.

Essential Criteria

  • NSW Security Licence 1A
  • Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster across 7 Days
  • Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence (Heavy Rigid licence highly regarded)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)
  • First Aid and CPR (current)
  • Menatl Health First Aid (or willing to attain)
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • Reliability and punctuality
