We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, client-focused security leader to join our team as a Security Site / Venue Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations at a key site or venue.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at building strong client partnerships, maintaining visible leadership on site, and ensuring security services are delivered to the highest standard. You will be the primary point of contact for the client, responsible for translating their expectations into consistent, professional service delivery while leading and developing on-site teams.
You will work closely with Service Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement, while representing ACESGroup professionally at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as the primary on-site liaison for the client, building trusted, professional relationships
- Ensure security services are delivered in line with contractual requirements and client expectations
- Lead, mentor, and support on-site security teams to maintain high performance and engagement
- Oversee daily operations including access control, asset protection, crowd management, and incident response
- Manage rosters, staffing levels, and coverage to meet operational and client needs
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating risks or concerns as required
- Prepare accurate reports, incident documentation, and operational updates within required timeframes
- Ensure compliance with legislation, licensing requirements, company policies, and site procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and client satisfaction
- Maintain a visible, professional presence on site as a representative of ACESGroup
Skills and Experience
- Current NSW Security Licence (1A)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current NSW RSA Card
- Full NSW Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated experience managing a security site or venue
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with rostering, workforce planning, and team leadership
- Sound understanding of compliance, legislation, and operational risk
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Mandatory Qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Certificate IV in Security Risk Management
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certifications
- White Card
- Fire Warden
- Chief Warden
