ACESGroup is continuing to grow and we are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor / Team Leader to join our team at the Sydney Fish Market, one of Sydney’s most iconic and vibrant precincts to play a vital role in delivering exceptional service while ensuring the safety and security of people, assets, and facilities.
This role is designed for a security career professional who leads by example. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, applying your broad skill set to a variety of operational activities, while guiding a small to medium team to deliver outstanding results.
As a Security Team Leader, you will be highly visible and client-facing, responsible for providing professional information services, managing incidents, and ensuring high standards of safety and customer service are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support, direct, and co-ordinate small to medium teams, including managing incidents and emergencies to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Prepare and deliver shift operational briefs
- Conduct patrols of sites to observe, report, and manage incidents
- Deliver excellent service performance standards whilst developing operational efficiencies
- Work within client and ACESGroup WHS guidelines
- Monitor facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety
- Prepare and maintain general security records and reports
- Manage and provide facility access control.
Skills and Experience
- Current NSW Security Licence (1A) – minimum 3 years’ experience (or equivalent)
- Experience supervising a small to medium team
- Demonstrated customer service experience and strong client-facing skills
- CCTV operational experience and ability to use a range of security systems
- Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and accountability
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (current or willingness to obtain)
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Fire Warden (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.
