Security Supervisors/Team Leaders

This role is designed for a security career professional who leads by example. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, applying your broad skill set to a variety of operational activities, while guiding a small to medium team to deliver outstanding results.

As a Security Supervisor, you will be highly visible and client-facing, responsible for providing professional information services, managing incidents, and ensuring high standards of safety and customer service are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support, direct, and coordinate small to medium teams, including managing incidents and emergencies to achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Prepare and deliver operational shift briefs
  • Conduct site patrols to observe, report, and manage incidents
  • Deliver excellent service performance while developing operational efficiencies
  • Work in accordance with client and ACESGroup WHS guidelines
  • Monitor facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety
  • Prepare and maintain general security records and reports
  • Manage and provide facility access control.
Skills and Experience
  • Current NSW Security Licence (1A) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (or equivalent)
  • Experience supervising a small to medium team
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and strong client-facing skills
  • CCTV operational experience and ability to use a range of security systems
  • Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and accountability
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) — current or willingness to obtain
  • White Card — current or willingness to obtain
  • Fire Warden — current or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.
