Leading the way in workplace gender diversity

At ACESGroup we are leading the way in workplace gender diversity within the security industry - a fact worth celebrating.

66% of our executive team is female. Our business, services, finance, human resources, training and legal leaders are female. 24% of our operational workforce is female and 42% of our full-time contract operational security managers are female – a fantastic outcome as, according to licensing statistics, only 11% of all NSW Class 1 licence holders are female. Our result is even better when considering that much of our work is conducted around the clock and on the frontline to keep people safe.

Earlier this year, at Australia’s largest ticketed event, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, 32% of ACESGroup’s sizeable 14 day roster was made up of female staff members – that is nearly three times more than other industry licensees. The Contract Manager and Security Supervisor for this event are both female and longstanding ACESGroup team members, proving that we have been serious about gender diversity in the workplace for many years. We are proud of the women in our team and of their successes.

ACESGroup is lucky to work in the most amazing locations where we continue to promote diversity. We believe that workplace gender diversity is not just about our female staff. It is about our people. It is about our teams who continue to demonstrate that gender, in the broadest sense, truly does not matter. This is why we continue to strive towards gender parity as we encourage female industry entrants to join the security sector.
